“Ah….I’m sorry to hear that.” He reached out his hand to gently pat Luke on the shoulder, hoping to comfort him in some way.
“I would’ve been happy to have you work here at the embassy. However, you wouldn’t be able to understand the Babahlese nor Allebahstian languages.” A soft chuckle left his lips. “Then again, I could always teach you.”
Luke smiled softly when the other gave his shoulder a pat. It did comfort him and he instantly missed the presence of the other once he took his hand away.
“It’s quite alright, it was a good run while it lasted but with so many police detectives there’s not much need for a private one.”
He knitted his brows for a moment as if seriously considering what Colias said. “That wouldn’t be such a bad idea though i’m sure learning your language would not be an easy feat.”
